This two-day event is a way to preview a sample of what goes on at the Chico Art Center year round. Since 1956 we have offered art instruction, exhibitions and cultural events that help the community appreciate the importance of visual art in our society. SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 17
Meet the teachers who provide classes and workshops and try hands-on art activities with CAC members.

Carol Preble-Miles demonstrates the watercolor painting techniques she teaches in her class.
Sal Casa offers samples of drawing and painting exercises he teaches.
Nicolai Larsenwill host a session of "Exquisite Corpse," an inspiring and collaborative drawing game where you can build on the work of other artists.
12:00 - 2:00 PM
Daniel Donnelly gives us a chance to play with the new iPad 6 he will soon be offering in monthly workshops.
Jon Shult will demonstrate cartooning and share tips he teaches in his drawing and animation classes.
Erin Wells will give you clay and show you what you can create in her fun with clay class.
2:00 - 4:00 PM
Sadie Cardmakes papier mache samples that all ages enjoy.
5:00 PM SFMOMA Highlights Talk by Dr. Dolores Mitchellin preparation for a CAC-sponsored bus trip (September 24) to the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. A noted local artist and historian, Dr. Mitchell will talk about some of the artists exhibiting at SFMOMA and the new architectural addition.
