Happy Autumn

Hello friends! It has been 2 months since my last newsletter. **Yikes** I gave my self permission to take a break and work solely in the studio this summer. And now I have returned energized and excited for the fall months! Here is what you've missed and what Not to miss.

Summer:
-Rodeos galore; I went to 3 rodeos over the past 2 months and photographed the athletes, the goers and lifestyle. The horsemanship and dedication is uncanny.

-Travel; New Mexico to New Jersey. I was able to sneak away to New Mexico for few days to visit Ojo Caliente and the Santa Fe Opera in July. Then to the Jersey shore to see my beloved family and get some much needed beach time.

-Fly fishing; I was lucky enough to tag along with two dear friends fly fishing on The Blue River this August. Talk about a zen pass time. Cant wait to get back out there. Did I mention the scenery of the Gore Range as a back drop. **Breathtaking**

Current:

September; I'm working furiously in the studio right now on my newest project. Hand etching, saddle tooling onto plexiglass. Each etched piece will then be hand formed into a full saddle. Its extremely detail focused task and I LOVE IT!

Teaching; I am pleased to be back in the classroom starting at the end of the month. I will be doing workshops with High school students and then a residency through December with Middle School students and then a few great workshops with the 'littles' in November. I am also on the sub list at Graland Country day! (Yes, I will still have studio time ;) )
