Can you believe that it's been nearly 20 years since CMV hit the airwaves!? The first episode aired in 1997, and 2017 is on our doorstep. So, in honor of this milestone, I thought it would be a good idea to take a look back on what God has done with the series as a tribute to His faithfulness, and as a "thank you" to all who have watched the show. Last month I began work on our next "CMV Extra", highlighting how the show has matured over the years, the hosts who've volunteered, and the blessings that have come about as a result. I hope to release the video in 3 parts (1 part every month) as we head toward the new year. So hopefully, this time next month you'll be watching a video highlighting Chapter 1 of our journey!

Surgeon helps promote the series at WMU's biggest event
Surgeon mans a table at Western Michigan University's fall kick off event
Thanks to Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship, Christian Music Videos was present again this year at "Bronco Bash"; Western Michigan University's fall kick-off event. Last year, postcards highlighting show air times were on hand at their table with a few being picked up by students. But this year, Surgeon was personally behind the table handing out promotional postcards along with a free Christian CD by KanaWormz. Several CDs and Postcards were distributed to students as episodes of CMV played on a small screen at the table. Surgeon gave out every postcard and CD that we had on hand. We pray that God will use this effort to touch the lives of many students on campus. A special thanks to Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship for sponsoring CMV and allowing us to share a table. And an added thank you to Kanawormz for donating more than 75 music CDs.
Great Awakening on CTN
Airing 9 times reaching over a half million households

Late last month CTN (Christian Lifestyle Network) aired the 1999 feature-length movie, "Great Awakening" 9 times to over a half million households. "Great Awakening" was featured as the movie of the week for the station. If you've paid close attention to the "Christian Music Videos" air schedule, you might remember that CMV once aired on CTN as well. Though CMV is no longer there, "Great Awakening" has been blessed once again with air time. A special "thank you" to Robert Evans for making this happen. KTF Productions and CTN are also currently in talks to show the entire 40-episode series of "The Wartleys" on their air as well. I'll be sure to keep you posted.

Last month episodes of CMV Mobile began streaming on ASCN (All Christian Spiritual Network). Now visitors to the site can watch full episodes of CMV at 10am and 10pm every day!
