NEW RESOURCE AIMS TO SUPPORT STEM TEACHER LEADERSHIP
Exciting new resource for STEM teachers! The Department of Education launched a website this week that provides guidance on implementing and improving STEM teacher leadership.

The Building STEM Teacher Leadership website is authored by experts in the field of STEM teacher leadership for use by other practitioners and is organized in a Q&A format by topic or by role.

OPPORTUNITIES TO LEAD AND LEARN

Register for the conference and join fellow scholars and practitioners in co-constructing a common understanding of teacher leadership and advancing theory and practice in the field.

California K-12 educators can join this multi-disciplinary forum which will highlight how strategic teacher leadership development can support district-wide reform efforts and improve instruction.

Submit an article for the second issue of the Journal for Interdisciplinary Teacher Leadership. Special consideration will be given to works that address teacher leadership and research experiences for educators. Deadline: October 31, 2016
