What Is Lupus?
More than 200,000 cases of lupus are diagnosed in the United States annually. Lupus is an autoimmune disease characterized by flare ups of fatigue, joint pain, rashes and fevers. Inflammation of lungs, kidneys and joints can occur, as well as gastrointestinal issues and thyroid problems.
