We're gearing up for Sunday and can't wait to see you.
Here's what you need to know...
PARENTS AND STUDENTS SHOULD BE IN ATTENDANCE ON SUNDAY.
We're having an "Open House" where I'll be passing along important information for the year and students will receive their materials.
The Open House will be at the beginning of the class period (so at 9am, if you are signed up for 9am classes or 10am, if you're signed up for 10am classes.)
It will take place in the Parish Center. Please come directly to the PC with your child(ren) at the beginning of class.
Only one parent is asked to attend.
After the Open House portion is finished, students will be dismissed to their classrooms with their teachers.
Class will officially end at the normal times, but parents are free to go after the Open House.
Catechists Still Needed
Please consider serving as a catechist for this coming year. We need more parents/adults willing to step up and give it a try. Last year we were stretched pretty thin, so we want to avoid that, as much as possible.
Here are some reasons to teach
- You help pass along the faith to young minds
- It helps you learn the faith
- It looks great on a college application (okay, this may be a joke, but volunteering is great for kids trying to get into college and it's still great for adults too!)
- Grow in friendship and faith by sharing the responsibility with a friend. (Either split the number of classes you teach OR co-teach each session...how you do it is up to you)
