Summary: Light Upon Light Sufi Center is changing up its monthly Dance schedule:
- 4th weekend Dances only (No 2nd Sat Dances, i.e., tonight!).
- Aramaic bi-weekly Tuesdays are shifting to the 2nd Thu zikr of the month.

Dear Dances of Universal Peace folk,
Karima and I are back from our August sabbatical and ready to restart zikr (the Sufi Ceremony of the Remembrance of God) and the Dances of Universal Peace. There are some schedule changes.
There will be no more Tuesday night Aramaic Words of Jesus meetings. The Aramaic words of Jesus will meet once a month on the second Thursday of every month instead of the usual zikr.
All other Thursdays will have the usually scheduled zikr meeting. Karima's zikr continues to meet regularly on Wednesdays
There will be just one Dances of Universal Peace meeting a month from here on out. It will be on the 4th Saturday or Sunday. We don't quite know yet, waiting for the Center for Performing Arts to get back to us about room availability. No Dances on September 10th!
We hope to see you soon at one of these events. Lord knows we all could use some relief from the election season, and something that feels calm and true.
