The Blended Course Design Workbook

October Update

Hello there!

Thank you for your interest in The Blended Course Design Workbook: A Practical Guide and for signing up to receive regular updates about the book!

October has seen even more book promotion activity as I prepare for the November release.

Here's some of the latest news about the book:
Audio Extras
In September, I continued to work on adding more special audio extras for The Blended Course Design Workbook: A Practical Guide. You can listen by visiting the book's website! I've scheduled recordings with some of the book's co-authors that will be recorded this month and released in November.

All audio extras are also available on iTunes and on Soundcloud with full transcripts, so they are fully accessible for use in the classroom or for faculty development activities.
Snail Mail Campaign
In September, I reached out to 100 Center for Teaching and Learning staff members to share information about The Blended Course Design Workbook: A Practical Guide and invite them to upcoming free webinars this month (see more on these below).

I've already received some great response from this campaign including some potential campus visits and bulk book orders. (Bulk orders receive a 40% discount, so let me know if that's of interest to you!)
Upcoming Webinars for Faculty Developers
In October, I'll be hosting some free webinars for faculty developers who might be interested in using The Blended Course Design Workbook: A Practical Guide in programming for their faculty. Learn more and sign up!
Pre-order Consults Email
Also in September, I started reaching out to everyone who pre-ordered a copy of The Blended Course Design Workbook to let them know that each pre-order comes with a free 30-minute consult with me. I'll be scheduling these over the next several months once the book begins to ship in November.

If you pre-ordered and haven't heard from me yet, look for an email soon!
Thanks again!
I appreciate your interest in The Blended Course Design Workbook and I'll be back in touch next month with all the latest BCD Workbook-related news!

P.S. Don't forget that you can also follow me on Twitter to stay in touch!
