Dear Friend of the Capital
You are invited to the next Open Mic Conversations, the Capital Collective's monthly networking and information sharing event for people and organisations interested in the rejuvenation of Pretoria’s CBD.
This bi-monthly event provides an opportunity for stakeholders to meet face-to-face, to present, learn more and explore projects in the city. The aim is to stimulate conversation and collaboration - about bringing people together who want to invest, share ideas, drive projects, sponsor or support new initiatives in the city.
Presentations are varied and attendees include individuals from all walks of life representing different interest groups in the city. Speakers will be confirmed on the Facebook event page shortly.

The Design Build Expo is presented by the Pretoria Institute for Architecture in collaboration with the Capital Collective, for the first time in 2016.
Aimed at Architects, Quantity Surveyors, Engineers, Contractors, Developers, Landscape Architects, Urban designers, Interior Designers and Built Environment Students.
The vision of the Expo is to create healthy networking opportunities within our local built environment and to promote up-to-date technical know-how.
To this end, the following will be on offer for attendees:
- An exhibition of building products
- Technical talks and presentations for CPD (Programme will be available soon)
- The PIA Annual General Meeting
- Architectural Movie Screenings
- Project exhibitions by Professional Architectural Professionals (PIA Members)
- Student Exhibitions – TUKS and TUT
- Networking opportunities
- Food stalls and more
