Tender, Strong and True Retreat

The Tender, Strong and True Freshman Retreat is designed for all students, Catholic and non-Catholic, to share in the journey of faith and learn how to better integrate faith into their every day college lives. The first retreat of the academic year will be held Sept. 30 - Oct. 1 at the nearby Sacred Heart Parish Center. Learn more and register here.




 

Music at Mass Office Hours

Campus Ministry invites residence hall musicians who are leading music in their halls to stop by during our weekly office hours throughout the academic year. Office hours are held every Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Coleman-Morse Center, room 329. These hours are designed for anyone who has questions or needs assistance with directing a choir, leading musicians or performing as an accompanist during Mass in a residence hall. Mass for
Our Lady of Sorrows

When Blessed Basil Moreau founded the Congregation of Holy Cross, he entrusted the entire Congregation to Our Lady of Sorrows as its primary patroness. All are welcome and encouraged to join the Congregation of Holy Cross to celebrate Mass in the Basilica as we honor Our Blessed Mother on this special Feast Day, Thursday, Sept. 15 at 5:15 p.m.



 

Sponsors Needed

Catholic students interested in mentoring someone on their journey in the Catholic Church are encouraged to serve as sponsors in Sacramental Preparation. Freshmen through graduate students are needed to walk with those becoming Catholic and preparing for Confirmation in both the semester (Short Course) and full year (RCIA) ministries. ¡El Papa te habla de la Misericordia!

The Institute for Church Life invites Spanish-speaking students to join Mons. Octavio Ruiz Arenas, the secretary general for the pontifical counsel, on Thursday, Sept. 15 at 7 p.m. in Geddes Hall, B036 . Mons. Ruiz Arenas will discuss the new evangelization and share his reflections on World Youth Day. The presentation is co-sponsored by Campus Ministry. All are welcome to attend. Please note the presentation will be given in Spanish.

Sing with Coro Primavera

Singers and musicians of all levels of experience and Spanish language acquisition are invited to join Coro Primavera. Coro sings at Mass in Spanish in Dillon Hall on Sundays from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Rehearsals are held on Wednesdays from 7 to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 12 to 1:15 p.m. For more information, please contact Coro President, Marisol Almeida or visit the Coro Facebook page
