Community Service at Leadership Camp
The FCCLA and HOSA State Officers would like to invite everyone attending Leadership Camp to participate in helping us give back to those in need! This year, during our leadership sessions, members will have the opportunity to create care packages for families in the Nashville, Chattanooga, and Memphis Ronald McDonald Houses. Ronald McDonald Houses are places of reprieve and rest for millions of families across the world as their children are receiving medical care.
In order to successfully accomplish our community service project, we ask that chapters and members bring any of the following donations:
Entertainment products: NEW
Movies (rated G)
Stuffed animals and dolls
Books (all ages)
Household Products:
Lysol wipes
Napkins
Toilet paper
Quart size Ziploc bags
Personal Care Products:
Deodorant
Toothpaste
Dental floss
Bar soap

National Cluster Meetings - Registration is Now Open!
November 4-6 in Denver, CO
November 18-20 in Orlando, FL
Two terrific locations, two stellar keynote speakers, and two days for members to have the Ultimate Leadership Experience! Join us in Denver or Orlando to show your chapter members what FCCLA is all about at the national level. The NCM Guide will give you all the details you need to plan for the meeting. Registration rates and deadlines, official meeting hotels, Leadership Academy courses offered, and Skill Demonstration Events taking place this year can all be found in one place. Power of One
Over 1,900 students participated in Power of One last school year. We are looking forward to seeing more completions this year. In anticipation, we will be sending electronic certificates to chapter advisers who have students complete the 5 units. The submission process and the deadlines (March 1 for the Chapter Adviser to Submit and April 1 for the State Adviser to approve) will be the same. These students will be recognized online as well as during NLC. If you are interested in receiving these electronic certificates for your State Meeting, please contact Beth Carpenter at bcarpenter@fcclainc.org.

Position Opening: Southeast CTE CORE Consultant
Join the Division of College, Career and Technical Education team! The CTE CORE consultant position for the Southeast Regional CORE office will be posted on Oct. 5. This position is an Educational Regional Academic Consultant located in Bradley County with a salary range of $4,973-$7,955 per month.
