Thank you!

How do you say Thank you to an anonymous donor?  You share their amazing act of kindness with everyone you know and hope their kindness ripples in some form onto others.  As you go through the day today, this week, and moving forward, please remember how generous someone was today.  You can pass that kindness on by sharing a smile or a 'hello', by holding the door for someone or just genuinely be nice to everyone you meet.  This is how you can make a difference to a random individual!

Today we learned that the winner of the second largest Lottery jackpot was, so very generously, matching the recent $30,000 donation that Hannaford made to the Raymond Coalition for Youth just less than two weeks ago.  Yes, let that sit for a second, it is simply amazing!!

We are so grateful to them for their generosity and will do our very best to make sure this donation has a very strong impact not only in our community but beyond.

As usual, we will need all of you to make it happen!  The conversations have started.  The wheels are in motion.  We hope to make the month of October, Substance Misuse Awareness month, just the beginning of our community wide efforts to engage our community and show that  together we in fact are:

"Committed to a Safe and Drug Free Community!"

We hope you will get involved and support this great initiative!  We look forward to sharing the details as they unfold.  Want to be a part of the planning?  Contact our office.

Want to learn more about the donation?  The media covered the event and we have some links below.  We will be also be updating our Facebook account as the news is shared.
