Our September meeting will be on Tuesday 20th, 6.30pm, at the usual place, St Charles' Church Hall, 1 Kelvinside Gardens, G20 6BG. Doors Open Day
 The church hall where we meet is attached to St Charles Borromeo. This unusual Modernist building will be open 10am to 4pm on Saturday 17th September as part of this year's Doors Open Day Festival, so why not call in if you've never seen inside before? Details of this and other local buildings featured in the festival are on our website.
North Kelvin Meadow
Last week a two-day public hearing was held into North Kelvin Meadow and a site visit took place (see the Herald, 5/9/2016). An independent report will now be made to Angela Constance MSP, the Scottish Government minister concerned. NKCC has supported the campaign to retain the meadow as public green space and we look forward to hearing the minister's decision, which is expected in October.
