Spirit of Division Released

I felt compelled by the Lord to send out this clarification and addendum to the word I sent out earlier today.
The enemy always tries to counterfeit what God does. We must be discerning and not confuse the two.
While the Sword of the Lord comes to cut away that which is not of Him, the enemy has been wielding a counterfeit sword of strife and division to separate families and friendships.
How does he do that?
Often it comes through a silly offense that would normally not even be noticed. But the enemy strategizes and hits us at a stressful time where the least little thing is like the straw that broke the camel's back. Then boom! We explode.
That would be bad enough, but then the enemy makes a mountain out of a mole hill.
I had a situation like that happen for me recently. That's how the Lord showed this to me.
Every offense becomes a fence in between us and God and us and others, and grows into a fence between us and our purpose, call, and destiny.
Listen people, "ain't nobody got time for that!"
The enemy is a thief who comes to kill, steal, and destroy. (John 10:10) Destroying God given relationships is his hobby. It's up to us to not let him.
Please be discerning and aware of this tactic of ungodly division from the enemy and cut it off at the pass. If you already have a situation that has happened, don't let it continue. Let him who steals steal no more! (Eph. 4:28) Be humble and courageous and seek to make things right. Be reconciled and restored to the beloved ones God has placed in your life. Don't loose those precious gifts.
Here in the Charlotte, North Carolina area, we are seeing that spirit of division explode and escalate into riots to try to divide our entire region.
Nationally, the elections are a hot topic the enemy is using to divide us. I personally have friends I know I cannot even communicate with until the election is over, in order to preserve our friendship.
Be discerning. There is a cutting away of the Lord's doing that is going on. He is removing ungodly things and people from our lives. But the enemy's counterfeit spirit of division is also at work, and we must not give place to it.
PRAYER
Father, in Jesus name, help us be discerning and wise in this time. Keep us from being overwhelmed by life and "losing it" on our families and friends and thus allowing enemy's spirit of division to take place. If we already have, give us the humility and courage to admit when we are wrong and to make things right. Please protect and preserve the relationships you've given to us. In Jesus name, amen.
