Collaborator improvements in Matterport Cloud

Last week, we released the following improvements that make it easier to add and manage Collaborators. 

• Manage invitations. A new “Pending” tab on the Collaborators page that allows you to see who has been sent an invitation, and resend or revoke that invitation as needed.

• Improved flow for new collaborators. Once you have invited a new Collaborator to join your account, you can enter their information, indicate their default upload folder, and give them permission to view folders and models even before they have accepted their invitation.

• Invitation acceptance confirmation. You will now receive an email letting you know when a Collaborator has accepted an invitation and completed account signup.

• Restore deleted Collaborators. You can reactivate deleted or “inactive” Collaborators. When reactivated, they will have access only to models they uploaded. Any additional permissions will need to be regranted.

Streamlined 3D Showcase Interface

For a cleaner 3D Space viewing experience, the button to open your Highlight Reel has moved from the bottom center to the bottom left-hand corner on 3D Showcase. Simply click or tap the up arrow to show the Highlights.

 

Highlight Reel default functionality remains the same.

• The Highlight Reel is briefly displayed when 3D Showcase loads, then it is hidden.

• If there is a 360° View set as the Start Location, the Highlight Reel remains open.

This functionality can also be controlled by url parameters.  

• To keep the Highlight Reel displayed upon launch, use the parameter "&hl=1”.

• To enable the Guided Tour to automatically start when 3D Showcase loads, or at a delayed interval, use the parameter “&ts=1”, where the integer is the number of seconds from initial entry when the Tour will start. 

To close the Highlight Reel in the new interface, click or tap the down arrow.
