Tinhorn Creek 2015 2 Bench White $22.60+taxes

ONE TIME RELEASE FOR TASTING
With the elevated levels of Viognier in this wine the apricot and stone fruit nose is prominent much earlier than in the 2014. It shows the heat of the vintage by being more opulent than the 2014 this early on, but it delivers on power and poise very nicely. The weight and texture are the hallmark of this wine, with a viscosity and mouthfeel that is only found in some of the world’s most interesting wines. Blend: 29% Chardonnay, 27% Sauvignon Blanc, 26% Viognier, 13% Semillon and 5% Muscat.

"marvellous white with an especially luscious, ripe quality that might best be described as seductive" 92 points - Beppi Crosariol, The Globe & Mail, Sep 2016

Tinhorn Creek 2015 Pinot Gris $19.12 +taxes
NEW VINTAGE
Nose has great intensity with white flowers, minerals, citrus zest and white peach. There is a slight herbal note here, hinting at tarragon or anise. Palate is loaded with citrus, pink grapefruit in particular, but it has layers of complexity too. Marzipan and almond biscotti but also honeydew melon and vanilla.

*91pts - John Schreiner "The wine begins with a fresh, floral aroma mingled with hints of citrus and peach. Flavours of pear, honeydew melon and pink grapefruit around a spine of good minerality coat the palate. The finish is crisp and dry" - May 2016.

SILVER - All Canadian Wine Championships 2016.
SILVER - San Francisco International Wine Competition 2016.

Tinhorn Creek 2015 Gewurztraminer $19.12 +taxes
NEW VINTAGE RELEASE
Very similar profile to our 2014, and used exclusively Golden Mile Bench fruit. Again a tropical fruit salad on the nose; lychee, banana, dried mango. Lots of candied ginger, leading into white peach, pink grapefruit and yellow pears. Still very fresh and vibrant and slightly drier than the 2014 giving the wine plenty of length and brightness. Has a hint of herbal notes too, lemon verbena in the finish.

*90pts - Treve Ring, June 2016. *89pts - John Schreiner, May 2016. *89pts - Liam Carrier, Icon Wines, June 2016.
SILVER - San Francisco International Wine Competition 2016

Tinhorn Creek 2013 Merlot $23.47 +taxes

BEST SELLER
Nice ruby red colour fills the glass.  The nose has a baked plum / Christmas pudding up front and leads to cola berry and milk chocolate notes. The palate is full of dried fig, blueberry and vanilla from the new oak influence.  The palate is med-full bodied with a long fruit driven finish with black cherries and supple tannins. This beautiful wine is almost gone. Easy drinking and the perfect sipper while entertaining it makes a great party red! One of the best reds of 2015 and a best seller.

*88 points - John Schreiner on wine.
*90 points - Beppi Crosariol, The Globe & Mail.
BRONZE MEDAL- San Francisco Wine Competition

Tinhorn Creek 2011 2 Bench Red $32.17 +taxes
LIBRARY VINTAGE~ SOLD OUT
BLEND: 39% Cabernet Franc, 35% Merlot, 24% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Petite Verdot
92 points - John Schreiner Dark in hue, the wine begins with seductively sweet aromas of cassis and blackberry. On the palate, the wine has flavours of plum, cassis, and vanilla. There is a hint of coffee and tobacco on the finish, as well as a touch of mint. The bright flavours and the moderately angular texture reflect the cool vintage. Nevertheless, this is a well-grown, elegant and satisfying red.

89 points - Beppi Crosariol - The Globe & Mail The blend leans toward the model of Bordeaux’s right bank: cabernet franc and merlot with some cabernet sauvignon and petit verdot. It displays considerable savouriness for a New World red blend, too. Full-bodied, it’s simultaneously dry and juicy, with dark, tangy plum and cherry jam infused with cigarbox and mildly astringent tannins. Brilliant for roast lamb.

FINALIST - Lieutenant Governor’s Awards for Excellence in BC Wine
SILVER - LA International Wine & Spirits Competition

SILVER - International Wine & Spirit Competition
