BLESSING OF THE ANIMALS
A free community event for pets of all religious backgrounds
and their owners...
All your pets—whether they purr, bark, fly, or slither—are welcome. This special ceremony takes place in the church sanctuary. Each pet will receive an individual blessing and a treat from senior minister Rev. Tim Dalton. First Baptist is partnering again with the Humane Society of Westchester. We ask that all participants bring either pet food or a monetary donation for the Society.
“Then God said, ‘Let the earth bring forth living creatures of every kind’ …And God saw that it was good.” (Genesis 1:24-25)

MARGARET'S GARDEN
Production from the garden is winding down but we still have tomatoes, zucchini, and finally some sweet bell peppers to harvest. A donation of $2.50 per serving would be welcome. Proceeds benefit Center of Hope (Haiti) and Habitat for Humanity of Westchester.
