Children will have an opportunity to barter at the general store while the adults shop the homemade baked goods and preserves.
Ray Haering
Plan to participate in games and crafts for children, take a turn contra dancing with Ms. Densmore in the Phillips barn, and watch a milking demonstration. A special program from the author and photographer of New Hampshire Women Farmers will be featured. NLHS Members - $6.00; Non-members - $8.00. [more]
Calling all bakers and canners!
On Harvest Sunday we plan to stock the Country Store with lots of goodies to sell. Quick breads, bars, cookies, pies, and other baked goods are wanted. Homemade pickles, jams and jellies should be properly sealed. Please call or email Debbie Hall to tell her what you plan to bring: 526-6292 or dbrhjhll.com. As always—many hands make light work! And from our usual number of volunteers, we should be able to put on a mouth-watering display! Thank you!

REFLECTIONS 2016 - Saturday, September 17
On Saturday, September 17, we celebrated the opening of the newly renovated Lauridsen House and Maude Swift Gallery, which contains an inaugural art exhibit of Dr. Anna Littlefield's art work. (right)
Great thanks are owed to many, including local business sponsors: Bonin Architects, Harrington Jewelers, Morgan Hill Bookstore, Spring Ledge Farm, Judy Davis Antiques, and Tatewell Gallery.
At left, Pete Lauridsen thanks all who supported the building renovations at the Reflections event and tells the story of the Lauridsen House and its legacy from when he was a small boy.
Very generous monetary support for building renovations came from Deborah Coffin, Pete and Heidi Lauridsen, Robert and Lynne Bell, Bill and Jeanine Berger, The Sheri Ensign Family Trust, John and Maggie Ford, Susan W. King, Patricia McGoldrick, Roger Smith, and Martha Regan-Smith.
And, last, but certainly not least, we are grateful to the many volunteers who helped during the evolution of the Lauridsen House, Welcome Center, and Maude Swift Gallery.
Thank you Jeremy Bonin, Maggie Ford and all the event volunteers including chair David Royle, Lynn Bell, Jeanine Berger, Steve Ensign, Sue King, Pete and Heidi Lauridsen, and Laurie Lauridsen. [more]
