Team from Australia
We had a delightful visit from a team from Australia. They cooked up a delicious shepherds pie for our Wednesday night cooking night. They volunteered in the school one of Centre teachers volunteers at. They brought life and energy and fun with them.

Cooking night is a big deal here. We celebrate birthdays of the students and teachers that have birthdays that month. We eat and eat and eat and ....eat! We play games and have a "life story" from one of our staff or visiting teams that show how Christ has impacted their life.

When we can, we like to tell you about our students that have been impacted by the ministry of The Centre. We will always change the name when we do so. Praise the Lord with us for this story.
"Fame" is a bright eyed engineering student, who loves fast motorcycles and fast cars! He has been practicing English at the Centre for several months. He is our reigning house Table Tennis Champion, having won the last tournament. For about a month now, he has been attending a weekly house church gathering, learning more about Jesus. Please pray for him to continue attending and for God to enlighten the eyes of his heart!

- A big, hairy, audacious prayer would be that our students would turn to Jesus with their whole heart, 1 every week (instead of only a few per year)! Pray with us! And then pray for wisdom in discipling them.
- Continue to pray for more teachers, full time and part time, long term and short term, as well as corresponding students to fill the classrooms. Then we could potentially start another Centre....
- Pray for spiritual protection for our staff. Satan has and is trying to take the Centre of out commission in many ways. Pray for him to be defeated, and Christ to be lifted up in all our activities. Pray for our health, safety, and that we would grow in unity and love together.
- Pray for our staff to have opportunities to share their faith with their students, naturally, often.
- Pray that we will be flexible to God's leading. If He wants us to change our hours of operation, or add hours, or add interesting classes, pray that we will be unified. Pray that we will have energy. Pray for the right staff. Right now we are considering starting a "conversation class that revolves specifically around Bible stories" maybe on an evening after regular classes are over. Maybe Saturday mornings?
