How can women – especially elderly and disadvantaged women – acquire skills needed for the 21st century? How can we facilitate more effective provision of collective business and innovative support services to ensure women understand and take advantage of ICT opportunities?
We are excited to bring you news of our Digital Innovations for Growth Academy (DIGA). DIGA is a partnership of dynamic organisations working across Europe who support enterprise development and promote the use of digital technologies.
About 5,200 boys and girls confirm the effect of the action days and Girls'Day/ Boys'Day on their career choices. This is an important result of the pre-post survey for the first time used as an instrument for measuring the direct and long-term effect. Following the action days more than 50 percent of the questioned girls declared themselves in favour for professions in which women are mostly underrepresented. That's 18 percent more than before the Girls'Day.
