Looking for a place to tailgate with your friends before the Charlotte 49ers home football games?  Join us in the 49er Student Tailgate Village.  Request your spot for single games or the whole season starting Monday, August 29th at 8 am at:  https://orgsync.com/120698/forms/207728.

 Requests will be taken on a first come, first served basis up through Monday at 12 pm prior to the requested game.  Spaces in this area may only be requested by current UNC Charlotte students.

 Spots include a 10'x10' tent.  Larger groups will be assigned up to 4 spots with 4 10'x10' tents.  If you are requesting space for a group/organization, please have only one person from your organization request space for the entire organization.  No personal or organizational tents will be allowed in the 49er Student Tailgate Village.

The Dean of Students Office is currently seeking two student speakers and two bell ringers for the December commencement ceremonies on Saturday, December 17, 2016.  The commencement speaker for each ceremony must represent the University well relative to good speaking skills, character, and school spirit.  The bell ringer is an honorable tradition that will recognize outstanding student leaders who have demonstrated exemplary 49er spirit.  The individuals should be graduating in December with a minimum 2.75 cumulative GPA and be in good disciplinary standing with the University.  One speaker and one bell ringer will be selected for each ceremony.

To apply, students need to simply click the below link which will take them to the online application.  Only electronic submissions will be accepted.  The deadline to apply for Commencement Speaker and Bell Ringer is Sunday, October 16, 2016.
