Whether you are a new artist or a seasoned touring artist, this session is for you. You will learn about all aspects of touring through Canada, United States and overseas; have a chance to audition/pitch and receive feedback from knowledgeable and experienced professionals, and participate in roundtable discussion groups geared towards your interests and experience/touring level. This is a full day of professional development for artists who want to tour and will be guided by experienced facilitators: Marcus Lundgren from DuffleBag Theatre, Mehmet Dede, Tom Jackson from Tom Jackson Productions and Robert Baird from BAM! Arts Management. 

This event will be hosted by Showplace Performance Centre as a new part of Ontario Contact 2016 in Peterborough, Ontario!

Register for IAMA Toronto 
November 10-12, 2016
 
Ontario Presents has partnered with IAMA (International Artist Managers Association) for the second IAMA North American Satellite meeting for managers, promoters, presenters and producers in classical music. This year, Toronto will be explored as a cultural hub in the conference aptly named, “Cultural Crossroads”, which will explore the classical music field with an emphasis on our pluralistic and changing societies and the issues surrounding the sustainability and impact of classical music in our communities. 

The conference will have enhanced business development components running concurrently, including activities such as panels, artist showcases, curated relationship building and social engagements.  Read more about the conference here
