EDUCATION NEWS
Join us for First Forum this week; as part of our Science & Spirituality weekend, we will be discussing the conflict between Science & Spirituality! Dr. Howard Gendelman will be our guest speaker. Be sure to join us Sunday, September 25th at 9:15am.

This week FIRSTKids looks at the topic "WHO is GOD?" God created the world, and is still creating every single day! And what’s cool is we get to take part and be a part of that creation, too!
CHANGE THE WORLD
OUTREACH NEWS
We need photos! This autumn's worship theme, "Who We Are," explores how God is still speaking to us in 2016, bringing a message of hope and healing in a divided world. During this series, we are asked to consider what brings us together and who we are called to be. All are invited to bring photos that reflect Who We Are. These will be displayed Sept. 25 through Nov. 30. Please drop off any photos you would like to share at the church office or with Sara. All photos labeled with your name will be returned to you.
FEED YOUR SPIRIT
WORSHIP NEWS
Long Range Planning Task Force: At a few recent Council meetings, members started discussing various, larger projects around the church.  Out of these discussion came the decision that it is time to convene another Long Range Planning Task Force.  (The last one was completed in 2004.) There is already a running list of topics and ideas this team is hoping to explore.  Look for more information and details in the coming weeks.  In the meantime, we all look ahead to the next 10 – 12 years of excitement within the walls of First Central! Onward!
