Spring 2016

Welcome to the Department of Parks and Wildlife’s WA Naturally publications newsletter.

Spring is finally here along with a show of gorgeous wildflowers across the State. WA’s incredible wildflowers are a traveller's delight, with pockets and sometimes acres of colourful wildflowers being photographed and admired. If you are lucky enough to be getting out there to check out the wildflowers this spring, why not purchase the great little pocket-sized Bush Book guides on wildflowers covering regional areas, from the Midwest to the south coast.

And if you haven’t already done so, why not look at getting yourself or family and friends a subscription to LANDSCOPE: WA’s parks, wildlife and conservation magazine. Each beautifully designed, seasonal issue features wonderful stories and articles, all complemented with incredible photography. The Spring 2016 issue is no exception, with a gorgeous Albany daisy on the cover to lead you into a great selection of stories.

Also, the 2017 LANDSCOPE Calendar Coastal Wonders of Western Australia is selling fast, so be sure to order yours soon to avoid missing out. Early feedback on the calendar has been fantastic, with customers very happy to see the return to spiral binding and larger box sizes. There is also the chance to win a fabulous camping prize.

All the best for a wonderful spring. We hope you find the time to get out and enjoy WA’s stunning national parks and reserves.

From the team at WA Naturally.
