Whether you are an attacking or defensive player, the ability to keep your opponent from making the first attack can make all the difference...

Paul Says 'Take the ball early after the bounce. This is really important when trying to keep the return low. By taking it early, you’re also giving the spin on the ball slightly less chance to take effect, meaning it’s a little bit easier to control.'

Top Seeds win at the Cippenham Junior 4 Star

Kate Cheer and Josh Bennet were both victorious at last weekend's Cippenham Junior 4 Star Open. 

Kate beat last year's winner Zahna Hall in the final of the Junior Girls having had a tough match in the semi-final against Sarah Mengistab. 

Josh had a testing five set match against James Smith from Kent in the final of the Junior Boys - before coming out on top after losing the first game!
