This past month, our recently appointed Head of Education Steve Oakes and CEO Doug Strycharczyk have been working to develop a series of simple but effective exercises for developing Mental Toughness.
The Mental Toughness Development Toolkit is an array of experiential exercises that can be used with individuals or groups. It also works well in conjunction with outdoor experiential learning.
AQR partners Maureen Keegan and Ken Harrison were featured in APSE News Direct on the integrated resilience programme Maureen and Ken developed for Knowsley MBC. Of course we are delighted that mental toughness and the MTQ48 formed a special part of the programme. They really understood the model, its significance and understood how to apply it for the benefit of both the individual and the organisation.
An exciting partnership has developed with Empower (Be the Change) who are working in St Christopher's, Wrexham which is the largest specialist school in Wales. Mental Toughness and MTQ48 will be used to help participants achieve their long term career/education goals. We hope this is the start of an exciting new partnership with EmPower working together in local communities. See more here
