MAY MEETING HIGHLIGHTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

During the May meeting, the DC State Conference was discussed. Our very own Cindy Hays was elected the first DCDAR Organizing Secretary and Cary Thompson was honored as out Chapter Outstanding Junior. The chapter was recognized for our donation of a book to the library in honor of Ev Barnes. Ev and Harriet Rosamond were remembered at the Memorial Service. We were represented by Pages Rachel Hicks and Amanda Hare at the DC State Conference.
A presentation was made to Kelly Störmer, a Charter Member of the Capitol Chapter. She will be moving to Pennsylvania for her husband's next military duty station at Joint Base Dix/Mcguire, and the chapter expressed their gratitude for her service. A gift of the insignia charm was presented.
