Submit Your Museum Events Online

MAS members - promote your museum events on our website. Simply log on to the member's section of our website and fill out the form on the submit an event tab.

October 14: Marketing the Museum
In this course, you’ll learn what marketing is, and gain an understanding of your museum’s marketing environment.

October 19: Telling Difficult Stories
This workshop will provide participants with the tools they need to develop programming related to difficult histories in a sensitive and informed manner. 

October 28: Museums and the Community
Learn skills and share ideas around determining community and audience needs, working with diverse groups, and developing a community engagement plan.

November 1: Online Museums 101
This online course will increase your familiarity with Standards for Saskatchewan Museums, focusing on applying the standards to your museum.

A detailed and meticulously hand crafted recreation of the interior of a historic Belfast public house (the Blackthorn). The Candahar provides an open space for exchange and intercultural encounters. More information.

Contribution to the Caligari Project, a city-wide arts festival, public celebration, and creative exploration of German Expressionism in its many forms. More information.
 

September 24: Dmytro Stryjek: Found in Translation, Mackenzie Art Gallery, Regina

An exhibition that reveals new insights into the visual and linguistic world of Saskatchewan artist Dmytro Stryjek (1899–1991). More information.
 

September 25: Fall Supper, Morse Museum, Morse

Morse Museum will be sponsoring the annual Fall Supper on September 25th at the Morse Community Centre. More information.
 

September 26: Decoding E-Money, RCMP Heritage Centre, Regina

The RCMP Heritage Centre is proud to be the first organization to host this new Bank of Canada, state-of-the-art, exhibit ‘Decoding E-Money’ that will be travelling across Canada. More information.
 

September 27: Thomas Hirschhorn: Self Pixel, Remai Modern, Saskatoon

The Remai Modern will be hosting a free public lecture at the Frances Morrison Central Library. Hirschhorn will discuss his practice and recent works including SELF-PIXEL, a new commission featured on Remai Modern’s homepage for the month of September. More information.
 

October 5: Ignite! Festival 2016, Saskatchewan Science Centre, Regina

Ignite! is for the inspired, creative, and innovative. Join us for one or all of our great events! More information.
 

October 8: Ignite! Exhibitor Showcase, Saskatchewan Science Centre, Regina

If you build things – ANYTHING – that you’d like to show off, this is a chance for you to show it off to hundreds of people! The Ignite Exhibitor Showcase (Saturday, October 8th) features everything from 3D printers to 3D printed objects, electronics projects, artwork, handcrafted toys, and more! Sign up and show off your work!

The Multicultural Council of Saskatchewan (MCoS) welcomes nominations for two awards which honour significant contributions to multiculturalism in Saskatchewan. More information.

November 1 deadline: Call for nominations - Saskatchewan Order of Merit and the Saskatchewan Volunteer Medal
