On September 27, 2016, from 2:00 - 4:00 PM EDT, HUD will host a webinar for Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) 1, 2, and 3 grantees to provide a refresher of NSP closeout procedures. This session will also feature a panel discussion by HUD Field Office representatives who have closed NSP grants. This discussion with HUD experts will include real life NSP Closeout stories that highlight tips on how to move towards closeout, how to successfully complete closeout forms, and lessons learned in closing NSP grants. Grantees will have time to submit questions. Grantee staff from the NSP program as well as finance staff should attend.
Recent webinars that covered: 1) NSP Program Income Transfer and Closeout Effort Overview, 2) NSP Program Income Transfer Procedures and FAQs, 3) Preparing for Closeout Using DRGR Reports; and 4) Program Income Transfer Updates and Q&A may be of interest to NSP grantees as well.
Please contact your Community Planning and Development (CPD) Representative or the NSP mail box at nsp-questions@hud.gov, should you have any questions or concerns regarding closing out NSP grants. For additional resources on closing out NSP grants, please visit the Neighborhood Stabilization Program page on the HUD Exchange. If you have not signed up for the NSP Mailing List, please do so on the HUD Exchange.
Webinar materials will be posted to the HUD Exchange Training & Events page, as they become available.
