It was wonderful seeing so many parents and families at our kick-off Open House on Sunday. Some of the items in today's eNews are updated or expanded upon from the Open House. You'll also find the first date for our families preparing for Reconciliation below. A reminder that there is NO CLASS on Sunday, as it's our Parish Picnic at Lakeview Park. Mass is at 11am in the park, followed by lunch, games for the kids, and community time for the adults. Bring a lawn chair for Mass. Lastly, there are a couple things that may require your response, so please read on for more!

Didn't Receive Your Child's Book or Folder?
Please let me know! While I had sheets on the tables where the books were, they were misunderstood. That being said, I need to get a more accurate account of how many more books I need to order. Please email me here to let me know that your child DID NOT receive it. This includes families that were not in attendance.

Recap and Some Updates from Sunday's Open House
- Prayer Program - The idea is to help your family develop a habit of prayer. Please try not to get caught up in the tally marks, but rather the idea of incorporating prayer into your family's daily life, as well as introducing your children to new prayers. The goldenrod-colored quarter sheet in your child's folder explains it.
- FORMED - Watch the trailer above! Also, since Sunday, Formed has updated their website. The big difference is that you no longer will have access to those Parish Leader Resources (and currently I don't have access either!) We're looking into that, but likely what will happen is I will highlight things in the eNews that they highlight. Everything else is still there and usable for you! Our Parish code is C63JK4. - Catechists - We're still in need of Catechists. We'd love to have THREE MORE! Please contact me with questions, concerns or if you're interested in volunteering to help pass the faith along to our children!
