As J.M. Darhower once wrote, "change doesn't happen overnight. There's no button that's pushed to magically alter everything. Change happens little by little. Day by day. Hour by hour."

By signing up to volunteer with one of these awesome organizations, you too can change the world little by little. Day by day. Hour by hour. What can we say other than...go get 'em tiger!
Volunteer Opportunities

Pro Labore Dei requires a Grant Writer. In this position you will be responsible for a full range of activities required to prepare, submit and manage grant proposals to foundations and corporate sources.

Upper Grand District School Board requires Assistant Art Instructors to help with classes on Thursday evenings from 5:00 – 8:00 pm. Duties include taking attendance, facilitating and preparing the program. This is a great experience for those wishing to work with children.

Homewood Health Centre is looking for Gift Shop Volunteers to greet, suggest gift ideas and offer assistance to visitors and other customers. You will process sales, count the float and record complaints, concerns and compliments that require follow up from the manager. Students are welcome to apply.

Community Justice Initiatives requires StrideMen Volunteers to participate in weekly relationship-building activities with the residents of The Salvation Army’s New Directions and Stonehenge’s Therapeutic Community. Sample activities include fitness activities, interactive games, art and information sessions.
