Floral Felting and Wonderful Weaving

Vivid and beautiful floral felting by Guest Artist Imogen Parker of Raindrops on Roses has brought a sensational splash of Autumn colour to our Shop & Gallery this month...

Imogen paints with wool, creating pictures of the plants she loves in felt with embroidered detailing. Her joyful use of bold colours and her enthusiasm for the medium shines through in every unique piece of art she creates!
We have both framed and unframed pieces and nuno felt purses available in a rainbow of lush colours!

Wonderful weaving!

Imogen has also recently become slightly addicted to the wonderful world of weaving - using handspun yarns in exciting colours and textures to produce beautiful scarves!
They really are so soft and beautiful to wear - you need to come in and see, and feel for yourselves!

Welcome to the Collective...

We are so delighted to welcome Flossy Felts as a regular artist and member of our Collective!
Beverley has been a Guest Artist and a contributor to Crafters Corner with her ever popular felted hares and seals. Now she has turned her hand to Garden Snails for the Autumn... and they are disappearing fast to their new homes, for snails! So if you want one, better be quick!

And also to...

We are also thrilled to announce that Karen Risby with her exquisite hand-painted porcelain jewellery and tiles is also staying with us at THS&G!
Karen's beautiful work makes a great complementary addition to our range of handmade jewellery, which includes silver, gemstone and acrylic - something for all styles and tastes!

Autumn arrivals!

Our Autumn window is already attracting lots of attention down St Johns Street! It's full of Autumn leaves and gorgeous hidden handmade treasures - like this bronze resin hedgehog by Julia Hulme.
New Autumn makes are being delivered almost everyday so do come in and see us soon!
