Flu vaccine is here!
Shots are available starting Monday, Sept. 19
We received our shipment of vaccine and are ready for flu season! To make an appointment at the health center, go online or call (269) 387-3287 for available times:
- Mon., Tue., Thur., Fri. from 8 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 4:30 p.m.;
Thurs. from 9 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 4:30 p.m.
No appointments are needed at these outreach clinics:
- College of Aviation clinic, Wed., Oct. 5, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Employee Benefits Expo, Wed., Oct. 26 from 9 to 4:30 p.m.
- Sindecuse Health Center student drop-in clinic, Wed., Nov. 2, from 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m.
 Student Health Advisory Council awarded flu vaccine grant
The council sought and received grant funds from Alana's Foundation, a Michigan nonprofit which aims to prevent flu infections in children and students. The grant will provide up to 150 uninsured and underinsured students with a no-cost flu vaccination. SHAC students started informational efforts at Bronco Bash (see photo) and will be making further outreach efforts across campus, providing students with information and peer encouragement.
