Wow- Opening night of 'The Bakelite Masterpiece' on October 1 is nearly sold out!

My Big Idea #1 from my August #vision blog is coming true! Book now and help the big idea become a reality.

In this month's #vision blog, I muse on the blissful challenges of the rehearsal room. We are in week 3 of rehearsals....read about how it's going in my September #vision blog.

Reminder that this Friday is the deadline to book for our Girls Ensemble Jr. Fall Class happening at IS 183 Art School. It starts September 27. Read more here.

In the meantime, check out all the incredible blog interviews Gail has been doing featuring our 2016 beneficiaries, Berkshire Immigrant Center and Suzi Banks Baum, our 'Bakelite Masterpiece' scholar, Brenda Oppermann, one of our generous sponsors who is providing housing for us, RookWood Inn, our first 'Celebrities talk Gender Parity' snapshot interview with Jayne Atkinson, and more.

Finally, see the photos from our sold out final Fresh Takes reading of the season- 'Grand Concourse'!

See you at the Theatre and enjoy this just released 1 minute trailer for the show!

Warmly,

PS: Consider bringing a 'Count Me In' group to the play- or join the Berkshire Festival of Women Writer's group on October 2!

September 23: Deadline to register

for Fall Girls Ensemble Jr.!

This after-school class for girls aged 8-12 will develop and bring together all individual creative talents (acting, dancing, singing, music-playing, writing, and more!). You will learn the skills needed to put together an original show from the ground up.  We will create scenes of all sorts using different theatre skills, including improvisation and movement. Our work will all be based on a theme that is important to YOU.

We will be collaborating with the IS 183 Art School art-making class to make our set and props, and present our combined creations at a final sharing for family and friends!
