The Board of Directors of IBPSA is seeking nominations for awards to be presented at Building Simulation 2017. IBPSA makes 3 awards for outstanding work in the building performance simulation field. These awards are made on a biennial basis at each Building Simulation Conference, providing there is a qualified candidate. The deadline for nominations is November 30, 2016.

Building Simulation 2017: The International Building Performance Simulation Association (IBPSA) will host Building Simulation 2017 in San Francisco, August 7-9, 2017. This is the 15th conference in the series that is the premier gathering of building performance simulation specialists from around the world. IBPSA has a membership of more than 4,000 and convenes a Building Simulation conference every 2 years.
January 28, 2017: Energy Modeling Best Practices and Applications - ASHRAE Winter Conference Course
Co-Sponsored by IBPSA-USA, this course covers the fundamentals of building energy modeling and explains how to use modeling to guide design decisions, with an emphasis on HVAC. This ALI course/seminar may be a suitable resource to help prepare for a Certification exam or earn PDHs for recertification.
September 29: ASHRAE & IBPSA-USA 2016 Lowdown Showdown - Chicago Chapter Roundtable
Please join the Chicago Chapter of IBPSA-USA for a round table discussion with the local 2016 Lowdown Showdown Participants. Held in conjunction with SimBuild 2016, the ASHRAE Lowdown Showdown modeling challenge showcased the work of eight teams and over 80 participants, who competed to model a net zero or below building.
