Green Star has been changing perspectives since 2002, creating healthy, resilient, social and economic outcomes for every day Australians.

The inclusion of physical activity zones, livable open spaces, natural light, engagement of local Indigenous communities and affordable housing programs are just some of the ways in which the Green Star rating system has changed the built environment.

World Green Building Week 2016 kicks off next Monday 26 September - Sunday 2 October, and to celebrate we’re hosting a networking event on Wednesday 28 September.

Join us to unpack Green Star’s future role in ensuring the built environment in which all Australians live, work, and play is preserved for generations to come.

Plus, be the first to see the Green Star ‘Change your perspective’ video, showcasing projects that have really pushed the agenda and changed industry perspectives.

The Future Green Leader of the Year 2016-17 will also be announced on the evening, recognising and celebrating the contributions of next generation sustainability leaders.

It’s a great opportunity to gain a new perspective, network with industry peers and think about how we can make our buildings green.

Follow the conversation at #WGBW16 and #betterbuildgreen.
