Content Marketing Checklist
It’s time we start documenting our content marketing strategy and track our success—for the sake of efficiency, business goals, and most importantly, our sanity.  So get those calendars ready.

Whether it’s google calendar, icalendar or a good old fashioned paper calendar take a deep breath, remember what goals you’ve created for your business and fill that calendar with great content you can post throughout your social networks.

GOALS

As stated in the content marketing training, you’ll need to remember YOUR business goals.  Aligning your content strategy to those goals will empower you to make the right decisions when it comes to content creation.

Write out all potential themes based on your business goals.

5 Ways to repurpose your content

Only repurpose content that continues to be valuable and relevant over the months (or ideally years)

  • Turn your old blog posts into conversations on Instagram stories, periscope, Facebook live, snap chat or any other social network with a “live feature.”
  • You can turn any blog post into a webinar or short training
  • Turn your old posts into slides and then post them on the updated blog
  • Turn them into content upgrades
  • Update the old blog post with more current content.  Repost it with link.s to the older content.

BONUS

NOT everyone learns the same way.  That's why  it’s important to repurpose content for all types of learners.  Take an old blog post and turn it into an info-graphic.

Content CREATION checklist

__ Am I creating content that summarizes, posts and trainings that I've done?

__Have I created content that people looking for me may overlook?

__Have I created posts that speak to my customers needs?

__Have I organized content that I've curated into categories?

__Do I have photos or graphics that enhance the content I've curated or thought of posting this month?

__I will publish __ times per week per social network.
