Headlines:
The Sixth Form students have elected their Head and Deputy Head students this week as the most senior student leaders in the school.
They are:
Head Girl: Lucy Cox
Head Boy: Sam Plumbe
Deputy Head Girl: Lucy Enright
Deputy Head Boy: Callum Ward
We wish them every success in their new roles. They will lead the wider Student Leadership Team, who will take on several leadership posts in the school, including developing peer mentoring, fund raising and the School Council. This gives real opportunities to contribute to our school and to develop leadership skills.
Two Year 10 boys, Alex Bush & Rory Cuthbert have been selected to play county rugby again this year. Congratulations to them both.
After some remarks, our GCSE results have risen to 66% of students gaining 5 GCSEs at A* to C including English and Maths. This is now higher than we have ever achieved and matches our target which puts us in the top 25% of schools nationally.
