The single accreditation system has put greater focus on programs to cultivate a culture of research and scholarly activity. Faculty and resident scholarly and research activities should be a prevalent component of graduate medical education. Programs with osteopathic recognition have the further mandate to engage in scholarly activity  and research tied to osteopathic principles & practice. We can help each other foster the culture of continued learning and research as an educational consortium. This month's newsletter highlights learning and resources related to scholarly inquiry.
Still OPTI has created a research mentorship program with a list of mentors to guide a resident through the research process. Click here or on the image to learn more.

Other Research Assistance Tools for Still OPTI Residents:
The Still OPTI Resident Research & Scholarly Activity Award is a fund designed specifically to assist Still OPTI residents with research projects and travel to present posters, papers, and other research at state, national, and specialty college conferences. Funds are available now but limited for each academic year.
