The second part of this seminar will be presented by Dr. Jennifer Luna-Repose, DVM of Alternatives for Animals in Layfette, CA. Dr. Luna-Repose will review Natural First Aid techniques and remedies for dogs and cats. We will be presenting the SFRAW NATURAL FIRST AID KIT during this seminar! Jennifer and Kasie will take a look inside the SFRAW basic Natural First Aid kit to review what items we have gathered/suggested as most valuable for a basic kit, and how/when to use the contents of our kit.

Our street will be closed on Saturday, Oct 22nd starting at 12-noon for this event. We have been working with the organizers of the fair and they are providing VIP Valet access in/out of the SFRAW warehouse for the entire day while we're open 9-5pm. Free valet service via golf cart will be provided by fair staff on either side of the street ; staff will escort/bring you in to SFRAW and then bring you back out with your goodies to your vehicle. Of course, you may want to check out the festival, too - seems like a fun event. We will do our best to accommodate your needs to get into SFRAW that day. We will also be OPEN early on Sunday Oct 23rd starting at 9AM so you can come in Sunday am instead; extending our hours to better serve you that weekend.

Buying canned, dried or kibbled tripe foods DO NOT provide the same benefits. Of course, the flavor and smell are tasty, but these formats of green tripe provide ZERO additional benefits to your dog other than a denatured protein source. Please don't waste your money! To reap the full rewards of this excellent food, you simply must feed RAW (not canned or processed) fresh or frozen green tripe from grass-finished ruminants.
Don't get carried away either!
Yes, green tripe is *awesome* and we highly recommend feeding it to dogs of every age. However, we also strongly suggest limiting this food to no more than 30% of your animal's total raw diet. Green tripe provides a balanced ca:ph ratio, but feeding a single food over time, especially a single cut of a single food, exposes your pet to serious nutritional imbalances and deficiencies. Don't get carried away with your dog's love for tripe! DO feed tripe, but just be sure to feed more than this, too -- including many different raw cuts from a variety of other proteins (four, at minimum) is vitally important to providing a balanced diet for your dog.

ALPACA MEAT IS A "YES!"
The Alpaca meat samples that we received were a real hit with everyone so we have finalized a large order with the producer. This is ground alpaca meat (burgers) packed into 1-lb bags and frozen (under $5/lb, which is an excellent value!) We plan to get a large shipment/pallet the end of October. This will be another "one off" deal because the producer is selling his property, but if you want to see the ranch, check out this video that shows his alpaca operation.
