Today is the feast of the Archangels Michael and Gabriel (above left) and Raphael, each named in Scripture and playing a particular role in God's plan. Saints Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael, defend us in battle. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. Amen!

Oktoberfest at Nativity
Join the Men’s Club for an  Oktoberfest celebration this Saturday evening (10/1) in the Nativity School gym and on the grounds, featuring music, German beverages and food, and more. All are welcome!

Special Needs Mass
Join us this Saturday (10/1) at the 5pm mass, which will be offered for those with special needs and their families and friends, and will also include a special blessing. All are welcome!

Please bring non-perishable food  with you to mass this weekend for the local food shelves. We also need grocery bags with handles. Thank you!

Sunday's Readings
In Sunday's First Reading, the prophet Habukkuk laments over what seems like silence from God. In the Second Reading, St. Paul inspires us to allow the transformative power of the Holy Spirit to move us to do great things. In St. Luke's Gospel, Jesus offers a humbling reminder of what is (or isn't) owed to his disciples.
