Sista Midwife Productions has had a full month of activity using art to bring information about infant mortality, perinatal disparities, birth options and solutions to the community. We know the work to eliminate perinatal disparities must continue every day before, throughout and after the month of September and we need your help to make that happen.
I am writing to invite you to join us THIS weekend Friday and Saturday at 7PM at Cafe Istanbul in The New Orleans Healing Center on St Claude Avenue. We will be closing out #TheArtofBirthing Infant Mortality Awareness campaign with a production of the play BIRTH by Karen Brody. If you were with us in 2013 come see it again. You will not be disappointed. With a new cast and some new creative additions it will be like watching it the first time again. If you missed it in 2013 get ready to join us and get ready for a treat. This monologue style play educates and entertains as it tells the stories of 8 women giving birth in America.
