In the midst of all of the coordination and running around, I did get to do a few paintings. My favorite features this cool cat mask that my sister sent my daughter from Venice. I'm pretty sure she actually meant it as a gift for me, knowing how I'd love to paint it.

I've also finally started working on some full-size pieces in my new series. This one is getting closer to what I have in mind, but I still need to do a few more before the concept comes into focus.

And of course, I found time to paint a tree. This particular tree is a favorite of mine. It's on the one and only hill in Bowling Green, Ohio -- where I went sledding as a child.
