Now, here are my recent best posts...

I've begun to teach my life's curriculum, by asking "If I had just 1 year left to live, what are the most important lessons I can teach?"

My curriculum is entirely free of charge.

Module 1 is about clarifying what message you really want to share with the world, and how to distribute your message effectively.  You can access the posts here:
An authentic business starts with authentic content.

Creating content will bring to you an initial audience.  This then allows you to engage productively in the upcoming activities of Optimizing Offerings and Selling Honorably.

Separate your content & your selling, so that each activity can be engaged more effectively.

Yes, you may end up using some content to sell your services / products... However, to maintain the highest authenticity (which serves your business in the long-term -- and your soul), focus most of your content on serving, rather than selling.

Here's how to discover your content purpose, and choose your content format.

Find your natural way of creating content.
Every person has some way of creating content that is more natural for them.

In this post, I offer you a variety of ideas.  Consider each one, and try it.

The only way to discover your authentic content creation method is to experiment.

Observe what works for you, and what your audience wants most from you.

As marketing guru Seth Godin says, "Don't go around insisting that you made something remarkable... Instead, test different things you made, and see what your audience likes the best..."

Here's how to discover your natural ways of creating content, and what topics are best for you to cover...

The Path To Awesome Content.
Do you yearn for your content to be well-loved, shared widely, and deeply impactful for your ideal audience?

Here is the path to content quality...

1. Publish more content (e.g. write articles, post on social media, or upload videos.)
2. Notice which pieces of your content get shared & loved.
3. Bring those success factors into your future content.

Repeat this cycle as frequently as possible, and your content will become more engaging, loved by your audience, and naturally shared, without you having to ask them to do it.

Here's my encouragement for applying yourself to this worthwhile path, as well as specific tips on how to create better content.

Reframe marketing funnels as curriculum
What if you're uncomfortable with sales pipelines and marketing funnels?

I prefer to think in terms of a "curriculum."

I work on designing an educational experience through my content, hand-holding my ideal audience member through a transformational journey that I truly believe in, that I've found helpful for myself and/or my clients...

Conscience, Money, Community, Marketing
A weekend moment... dare i share my singing with you all? :)

Here's my mellow version of Stevie Wonder's song "All About The Love Again".  I've changed the lyrics just a bit... Click the image above for the lyrics and to watch me try to perform it :)

Meet people where they're at.

People don't care how much you know, until they know how much you care.

Want to be interesting? Get interested in others.

Give them what they want, until they want what you want to give them.

When it comes to making money, think about 2 sources of energy: Yourself.  Other People.

Who are your money heroes?

I've found it life-changing to reflect on this.  Without clarifying your thoughts on this question, here's what tends to happen...

You take on someone else's dream -- without consciously choosing it.  It's often the dream of making "6-figures" (or 7-figures).  Because the "money heroes" who are best at getting our attention are the ones are selling us the 6+ figure dream.

For years I pursued that dream.  I successfully attained it... but then, I discovered I had reached a mirage.

I had built a business I actually didn't love.

I also found that many of my 6-figure peers were stressed out -- secretly feeling imprisoned by their business -- and compelled by peer pressure to always pursue the next financial goal (7-figures!)

But they weren't being public about their deep unease... and therefore, the 6 or 7-figure dream continues to be sold as the thing everyone should go for.

It took me a long time to come across a few money heroes that I could truly admire...

In this post, I share with you my 4 money heroes.
