ROUNDING OFF SCREENING
On 4th October at the Czech Architecture Days

A 22′ video by Zsolt Keserue, Levente Polyak and Ágnes Dénes about the transformation of the interiors of prefabricated housing estates. Through interviews and research, the video documents attempts and practices to domesticate and alter radically planned spaces.

 

ADAPTABLE CITY EXHIBITION
On 27th October at the Timisoara Architecture Biennale 

The exhibition Adaptable City, first presented in KÉK Budapest, gives an introduction to the logics of temporary use and adaptive reuse, discussing its fundamental questions as well as the organisational, economic, legal and architectural conditions of the reutilization of vacant buildings and sites.

ARCHITECT'S BACKSTAGE
On 29th October at the Timisoara Architecture Biennale 

The workshop aims at supporting participants in developing new business models for their architecture practice, exploring possibilities arising from new forms of collaboration with other disciplines. Experiences from the Wonderland Manual for Emerging Architects and the Funding the Cooperative City series will be presented.

INTERACTIVE CITIES MEETING
Eutropian co-organised in Alba Iulia the partnership meeting to develop strategies on how to address cities' audiences through social media so to improve urban governance. 
SEISMIC WORKSHOP
Eutropian joined the Berlin meeting of the Seismic network by presenting the Funding the Cooperative City project. What are the economic models that civic organisations are developing to make their actions sustainable in time?

VACANT CITY BOOK ONLINE!

A few months ago, the Budapest-based KÉK’s Lakatlan project published the book VACANT CITY, bringing together experiences of civic initiatives reusing vacant buildings in the Netherlands and Hungary. The book, co-edited by Eutropian’s Levente Polyak is now available to read online.

Cities and City Makers enhancing the (Im)Pact of Amsterdam
The final report of the event held on 29th May in Amsterdam is available! Thanks to the cooperation of URBACT, Committee of the Regions, Pakhuis de Zwijger and Eutropian, many cities and city makers from around Europe gathered to share their experience with the Urban Agenda Partnerships!
