September 24

Los Angeles CF Joc Pederson went 1-for-1 with a 2-run single, 2 walks (one of them intentional), and 3 runs in a 14-1 win over Colorado. The second-year player has drawn 7 walks in his last 3 games, and so far this September he is hitting .304 with 6 home runs, 10 RBIs, and a bloated .475 on-base percentage. Los Angeles (89-66) has won four straight, and it's magic number to clinch the N.L. West title is down to one game.

In his second game back since suffering concussion symptoms from a beaning, 2B Ian Kinsler reached base four times, going 3-for-4 and drawing a walk in a 7-4 loss to Kansas City. The loss broke a five-game win streak for Detroit (83-71), which fell half a game behind Baltimore for the second and final A.L. Wild Card spot.

Milwaukee RF Ryan Braun went 1-for-4 in a 6-1 loss to Cincinnati. He also was caught stealing for only the fourth time in 20 attempts this season.

Toronto CF Kevin Pillar went 0-for-3 in a 3-0 win over the Yankees. The Blue Jays (85-69) are 1.5 games ahead of Baltimore in the race for the A.L.'s top Wild Card spot.

Richard Bleier did not play in the Yankees 3-0 loss to Toronto. New York (79-75) has lost eight of its last 10 games and is 4.5 games behind Baltimore for the second and final A.L. Wild Card spot.

Oakland 1B Danny Valencia went 0-for-3 with one walk in a 5-0 loss to Texas. 

Scott Feldman did not play in Toronto's 3-0 win over the Yankees.

Injured 3B Alex Bregman did not play in Houston's 10-4 loss to the Angels. The Astros (81-74) have lost three straight and sit 3 games behind Baltimore for the second and final A.L. Wild Card spot.

September 23

CF Joc Pederson went 1-for-2 with his 24th home run and two walks in a 5-2 win over Colorado. He hit 26 homes runs in his 2015 rookie season. 

In his first game back since suffering concussion symptoms from a beaning, 2B Ian Kinsler reached base four times and scored three runs in an 8-3 win over the White Sox. Kinsler went 2-for-3 with a single, double, and two walks. "He looked like he didn't miss a beat," manager Brad Ausmus told MLB.com

Milwaukee RF Ryan Braun went 2-for-4 with a 2-run, go-ahead single in a 5-3 win over Cincinnati. He also stole his 16th base.

Toronto CF Kevin Pillar went 2-for-4 and was caught trying to steal a base in a 9-0 win over the Yankees. 

Richard Bleier did not play in the Yankees' 9-0 loss to Toronto. 

Oakland 1B Danny Valencia went 2-for-4 in a 3-0 loss to Texas.

Injured 3B Alex Bregman did not play in Houston's 10-6 loss to the Angels. 

Scott Feldman did not play in Toronto's 9-0 win over the Yankees.

September 22

Richard Bleier did not play in the Yankees' 2-0 loss to Tampa Bay.

Injured Ian Kinsler did not play in Detroit's 9-2 win over Minnesota.

Injured 3B Alex Bregman did not play in Houston's 2-0 loss to the Angels.

Toronto (Kevin Pillar and Scott Feldman) and Oakland (Danny Valencia) were idle.
