Welcome to MAGICapp

A new update of MAGICapp is here.

There are now over 5000 users signed up, 28 guidelines published and many thousand PICO questions and recommendations created by various organisations and authors.

In this update we have focused on a few integration features, as well as fixing some issues highly requested by users.
As always, we'd love to get feedback from you and hear what you think so that we can further improve MAGICapp both for authors and end-users. Visit our feedback site to suggest or vote for future features, or contact us directly for a chat.

Best regards,
MAGIC team

New Features

Summary of findings widgets

Your summary of finding tables can now be integrated on any website as interactive pop-ups or embedded tables, using a simple html code available from all PICOs.

This feature can be used in texts referencing the evidence from a PICO question, giving the readers direct access to the evidence without having to leave the text. It can also be used by groups publishing guidelines or evidence summaries in their own platforms, to show interactive, always updated tables directly on their own page without having to building the feature themselves.

User-friendly login, search, guideline settings, PDF and track changes

We have merged the landing page with the login page and upgraded the design of the guideline listing and search within a guideline. The guideline settings have moved closer to the guideline content, to make the PDF, version history and checklist more accessable. There is a new 'View only' option, which hides the edit controls when you just want to read, and we have improved the track-changes feature. The PDF outputs have some design improvements, including page numbers in the table of contents.

Direct links to recommendations

All recommendations now include available direct links. You can choose to link to a specific version or the always most updated version. This way it's easy to link to a single recommendation from any document or website, and be sure that your users are always taken to the right one.
