Procurement Leaders Conference: save the date

Our annual MAV Procurement Leaders Conference is being held at Peppers The Sands Torquay on 2-3 March 2017.

The conference is an opportunity for current and aspiring procurement leaders to undertake an intensive two-day program of activities to support ongoing development.

It will include presentations, workshops and discussions, and will showcase examples of innovative approaches to procurement.

Registration details and an agenda will be circulated in the coming weeks.

For further information, contact Zara Ahmed.

New MAV Procurement reporting tool

MAV Procurement has implemented a new reporting tool which allows us to provide more detailed and accurate reporting of a council’s utilisation of MAV Procurement contracts, by contract, supplier and time period.

If you would like more detail, or to obtain information from the reporting tool, contact Steve Downs.

MAV eLearning

The MAV and ArcBlue eLearning modules are almost ready to be rolled out.

The modules have been designed specifically for the Victorian local government sector and will easily fit into daily work schedules. Initially there will be three modules available for councils to purchase - procurement essentials, contract management, and probity in procurement.

eLearning is a great way to provide a consistent message, and is measurable and auditable via assessments.

More details will be available shortly. For further information, contact Rachel Ferretto.

Procurement training

Our 2016 Procurement and Contract Management Excellence Series is running a selected number of courses in October and November.

Further information about each course is available in our training brochure. Registrations can be made online.
