In its 2016-17 Budget, the Federal Government committed $7.3 million over four years to fund the 'Community Engagement Grants Programs' that would deliver advice and assistance on workplace laws to vulnerable groups in the community. Applications from not-for-profit community organisations are now open for the program. Community organisations who can provide client-centred and holistic services in response to employment issues experienced by vulnerable and disadvantaged members of the community; including addressing employment problems that manifest from broader or underlying problems, such as family and domestic violence and mental health need to make application now. Read details about the grants and who is eligible and apply.
