27 Sep 2016

Hi Reader, I hope this finds you well!

I arrived back in Cape Town last night after a week trip to Australia, where I taught my EFT Advanced Level 3 course.  It still amazes me that we can travel 14,000kms in about 24 hours - what a wonderful world we live in!

It was, as always, such a privilege to work with people who are keen and excited not just to take their client work to the next level, but who understand that they are totally responsible to create the lives they want.  To witness, support and facilitate their respective journeys towards greater self-expression remains a true delight for me, perhaps more than anything else that I do!

I still think it's virtually impossible (at least, without medication) to be truly happy unless you find the way(s) in which you truly love to express yourself in this world; when you find a way to make a living doing that, it truly makes life worth living!

As I'm heading into my last EFT Level 1&2 course for the year, here in Cape Town, I'm excited that EFT Tapping continues to make radical inroads into the way we approach health and well-being on our planet.  If you want join me in true lastminute.com fashion - scroll down.

This time...
  • The death of my father
  • Finally it's here! Our first Bali retreat!!
  • Your truly "lastminute.com" chance to attend Level 1&2 in Cape Town
  • What does it really mean to be authentic?
That's it!

Hugzaplenty, and hope to see you there,
Bennie

MY FATHER'S DEATH

Here's what I wrote shortly after my dad, Benjamin Naudé, died on 10 September.  Here's a picture us a few years ago, doing what he truly loved - being together with those close to him, on the travel in beautiful places.

The last week has been one of many 'firsts' - all around my father. (Many thanks for your messages, offers and acts of support; over the last few days it was that, more than anything else, that triggered some very old and deep tears.)

It was the first time I asked him (or anyone) if he wanted to live or die - in a real 'life or death' way.
The first time he died.
The first time I attended his memorial service.
The first time I asked, when that was over 'What do you do after your dad's memorial service?' [I'd never thought about that.]
The first time I realised that the lack of overt blessing from him bothered me more than I knew and that was still unconsciously hoping to get it, some day.
The first time in 40 years that my siblings, step-siblings and I really did something together.
Friday will be the first time I go to his cremation.

It was my second time to pack up someone's belongings after they died; the first in 2004 when a friend named me the sole beneficiary in her will and I flew back from the USA where I lived to South Africa to box up her life story in a few days.

This week, as I reduced my dad's lifetime of work, interests and business to a small pile of 'to act on' paperwork here, a box of stuff to file 'in case' there, 2 bags of 'rubbish' and some personal bits - like his favourite pipes he'd not smoked in over 20 years - I remembered this Course in Miracles lesson:

"I have given everything I see in this room [on this street, from this window, in this place] all the meaning that it has for me."

It really is true.

I'm not offering this as a life-lesson or 'reprimand' of any kind...just wanted to share my rekindled awareness that those things I hold so dear - the way I work, the 'thank you' cards on my vision board, (in fact, my entire vision board!) and each and every one of my beliefs or values - are only 'important' because I say so.

This doesn't mean I'll necessarily change them or that I'll make them less important, and that's ok; as a human being I have the free will to choose what is important to me, and that is my right.

It also reminded me of something I heard over 20 years ago and still remember on a good day, "Everything matters and nothing matters."

Now that I wrote that, maybe there is a life-lesson here after all.  [A reprimand or 'warning', as the well-intended pastor offered during the service, it is NOT.]

Maybe the lesson is to realise that what is important to me is only important to me because I was taught that it is, either through experience, observation, didaction or personal preference.

That does not make it wrong or less important to me, but it does remind me that on those good days when I'm less precious about what's important to me and more interested (or even intrigued, fascinated and amazed!!) by what's important to you, now those are the days when we can connect just a bit closer, just a bit deeper.

Maybe that's what ultimately makes us brilliant as practitioners and facilitator  -  who knows...

Bali Retreat

I'm over the moon to confirm that I'll be co-facilitating the first ever Gathering Retreat in Bali next year, from 27 - 31 May.

In addition to 5 days filled with meditations, group work, massage, dance and beautiful food in a BEAUTIFUL location, you've also got the option of adding 2 days for an intensive where you'll get 4 private sessions and 2 massages, plus more.

There are only 5 spaces for the 5+2 days intensive, and we already had people registered before we had the venue, dates or costs confirmed!  (Love it when that happens...)

Watch this space; I'll announce more details soon.

In the meantime, be sure to block 27 May - 2 Jun in your calendar - you know you want to!

EFT LEVEL 1&2
CAPE TOWN 29 SEP - 2 OCT
** FOR THE LAST TIME THIS YEAR

Why should you attend my Level 1&2?

Here's why.

Because you'll feel better afterwards, and be clearer on where you want your life to be going.

You'll have a way to deal with life's everyday ups and downs, pains and aches, disappointments and challenges.

This 'way' will not entail other people's opinions, medication, invasive treatment, chemicals, or anything else that's unpleasant or simply not you.  And, if you're already on medication or medical treatment, then this 'way' will absolutely support the mind and body to heal.

EFT allows you to overcome headaches, backaches, stress, and even more severe physical pain like knee or hip pain or painful PMS. It is also known to help release depression, anxiety, panic attacks, fears and phobias, even the most horrific or severe trauma and can help you change those beliefs you hold about yourself or about life that really isn't helping.

After the courses you'll understand exactly where your problems come from, why things have been the way they have, and more importantly, exactly what you can do about it.

It is safe to use on children, yourself and animals, in the moment, when you need it the most.

If you already work with people, e.g. as a teacher, nurse, doctor, coach, psychologist, chiropractor, massage therapist etc., you'll be able to use this simple technique to complement the way that you already help your clients.

Can't take the time off work? Make a plan.  Decide what is most important.

Can't afford it?  I have recently reduced the prices of EFT courses in South Africa to make it available to as many people as possible, and there are also payment plans available.  For the price of a few tanks of petrol you can seriously turbo-charge your life!

FALL IN LOVE WITH PRESENTING

**FOR THE LAST TIME IN 2016

If you're not in love with presenting, you're missing out (and so is the world).

How much longer do you want to struggle getting your message out there, or avoiding it all-together?

I can tell you a lot of things about this course, but here's the gist of it:
  • It's the best course I've ever put out there.
  • Months afterwards I'm still hearing from people how it's helped them to get jobs, deal with the police, handle team meetings more effectively, blow their colleagues away (in a good way!) with their presentations and even start their own online-course on a technical platform that used to scare them senseless!
  • Mostly I'm hearing about attendees feeling more confident in themselves and being surprised (again and again) by how effective the techniques are, and how they WORK.

[Click here if it doesn't show]

FOR THE LAST TIME IN 2016.

Join me or miss out!
